DEPARTMENT:
About the position
- Support and advise employees and management of our operational business units and affiliates in all matters relating to data protection
- Optimize processes for data protection compliance
- Draft, revise and manage contract templates, terms and conditions and forms
- Coordinate with external legal counsel(s) and the Data Protection Officer
- Support operational business units in contract negotiations relating to data protection
- Administration of the required data protection documentation
Job Requirements
- Bachelor/Masters degree, ideally majoring in law, business management or IT with an emphasis on data protection and/or IT law
- Solid knowledge in data protection law and commercial law
- Several years of relevant professional experience
- A good understanding of technical, economic and legal contexts especially in connection with complex software products and projects
- High propensity to also handle matters in other fields of law if required by business needs such as IT-project/licence agreements, software maintenance agreements, public procurement law and IT security
- Proficiency in written and spoken German and English allowing you to conduct complicated negotiations with confidence (an additional foreign language would be an advantage)
