DEPARTMENT:

About the position

  • Support and advise employees and management of our operational business units and affiliates in all matters relating to data protection
  • Optimize processes for data protection compliance
  • Draft, revise and manage contract templates, terms and conditions and forms
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel(s) and the Data Protection Officer
  • Support operational business units in contract negotiations relating to data protection
  • Administration of the required data protection documentation

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor/Masters degree, ideally majoring in law, business management or IT with an emphasis on data protection and/or IT law
  • Solid knowledge in data protection law and commercial law
  • Several years of relevant professional experience
  • A good understanding of technical, economic and legal contexts especially in connection with complex software products and projects
  • High propensity to also handle matters in other fields of law if required by business needs such as IT-project/licence agreements, software maintenance agreements, public procurement law and IT security
  • Proficiency in written and spoken German and English allowing you to conduct complicated negotiations with confidence (an additional foreign language would be an advantage)
