About you: For the Data Protection M&A Lead role, you must be an ambitious professional with a strong background in project management, particularly within the M&A space. You have a keen ability to identify and communicate risks, ensuring they are addressed by the right stakeholders. Building good relationships comes naturally to you, especially with senior stakeholders. Your experience and skills will be crucial in helping us transform and manage our data protection acquisition program, guiding acquired businesses smoothly into a ‘business-as-usual’ state while enhancing our privacy practices. Day-to-day, you will: • Partner with the Group Data Protection Officer to create and implement a structured Data Protection M&A workstream. • Provide transparency of risks through effective program governance and ensure compliance with relevant policies and standards. • Collaborate with acquired businesses to understand their operations and products from a privacy perspective. • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels to ensure smooth project transitions to ‘business-as-usual’. Your skills and experiences might also include: • Good programme management skills, with the ability to execute against set timelines • Knowledge of UK and EU data protection legislation and regulations • Highly autonomous with capability to proactively drive initiatives What are we all about?
