REQUIREMENTS
- Completed university degree in law or business law, ideally with a focus on data protection or IT law. In-depth knowledge of German and European data protection law (e.g., GDPR, German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG)) and its practical implementation
- Around 2-5 years professional experience in the field of governance, risk and data protection compliance, preferably in a larger organization and international environment
- Affinity for IT processes and digitalization topics
- Proven track record of analyzing workflows/ processes/systems and effectively documenting them to clearly and concisely articulate issues
- Solution and risk-oriented, pragmatic counselling style
- Excellent understanding of procedural contexts and corporate interests
- A passion for generating transparency and solving problems
- Confident appearance, strong communication skills and assertiveness. Ability to communicate appropriately to different target groups
- Team mentality
- Fluency in Business English and German, both written and spoken, is mandatory, further languages are a plus

Responsibilities:
As a Data Privacy Specialist at TeamViewer, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with data protection laws, supporting day-to-day operations and AI-related projects, managing privacy governance, and collaborating with key stakeholders to drive internal compliance and privacy-related improvements across the organization.
- Specialist Supporter: Act as Data Privacy and compliance specialist and support our internal departments in all day-to-day operations and project-related tasks. such as AI-feature integrations
- Privacy Expert: Analyse legal developments in data protection law and consult the business in their implementation
- Privacy Governance: Manage data protection relevant documents (e.g., Records of Processing Activities, Data Protection Impact Assessments, Deletion Concepts) and review and negotiate data protection contracts (e.g., Data Processing Agreements)
- Privacy Requests: Manage and coordinate tasks related to data protection incidents and breaches as well as data subject requests and communicate with various internal and external stakeholders
- Internal Compliance: create data protection policies and ensure their implementation, e.g., by setting up guidelines and internal rules concerning data protection governance, and find ways to optimize privacy-related company processes
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with our Legal Counsels, Director Data Protection, external Data Protection Officer and the department leadership
- Internal Trainings: Develop and hold regular data protection trainings for management and staff members
