We are seeking a motivated, curious, and proactive individual with a passion for data protection, privacy and security to join GF as Data Protection Trainee for a 12-month fixed-term position. As the selected candidate, you’ll get hands-on experience with a wide range of data protection tasks and projects.
Support in maintaining GF’s data inventories (processing activities, assets, and vendors) in OneTrust
Support the Group Data Protection Office in Schaffhausen, Switzerland in day-to-day operations
Promote privacy across the organization
Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess whether data collection and usage practices are transparent, protect user privacy, and mitigate risk
Support privacy risk assessments
Draft privacy policies, procedures and training materials
Evaluate effectiveness of privacy processes
Bachelor’s or master’s degree (preferably in law, business administration, business informatics or similar)
Fluency in German and English, both written and verbal
Team player attitude with good interpersonal communication skills
Proactive, independent and structured way of working
Reliable, open and transparent way of communicating
Passion and curiosity to learn, improve and develop
Ideally experience in the field of data protection, compliance, or information security
Eligibility to work in Switzerland
