Your main responsibilities:

  • Contribute to further develop and implement the bank-wide Data Quality policies, standards and processes
  • Create and set-up key data quality metrics and performance indicators to track progress and identify areas for improvement, by developing and maintaining the monitoring and reporting capabilities
  • Understand different needs of stakeholders when looking at data quality metrics and ability to critically define requirements
  • Ensure that data quality rules are defined for critical data elements and that severity, thresholds and dimensions are covered
  • Promote the use and application of the DQ dashboard and be able to explain the metrics behind the visuals
  • Promote and use the standard DQ issue management and remediation tooling as well as coordinate and manage stakeholders for the remediation of data quality issues
  • Analyse data by means of data profiling to understand its characteristics, including completeness, accuracy, conformity and consistency.
  • Report periodically and ad-hoc as required on Data Quality status by means of the Data Quality Dashboard/Scorecard, highlighting key data quality issues and progress of Data Quality initiatives
  • Provide expertise to accelerate Data Quality Management adoption and maturity
  • Act as an ambassador and advisor for Data Quality and contribute to build a culture of continuous improvement of Data Quality in Kna

There is no predefined route to become a great Data Quality Analyst at Knab. But to be successful in this role, this is the kind of profile we have in mind:

  • Bachelor’s/ master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Information Management, Economics, Econometrics, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in key subject areas of Data Management including Data Quality Management
  • Proven experience in Data Quality Management: data quality controls, monitoring and reporting, data profiling, data quality issues management
  • Knowledge of Data Management frameworks (ex. DAMA -DMBOK, DCAM)
  • Awareness of Data Quality Management related regulations (i.e. BCBS 239)
  • Effective communication: ability to explain to everyone, at every level in the organization what Data Quality means for them
  • Advanced influencing, persuasion and negotiation skills
  • Open minded and keen explorer: strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Results oriented and analytical
  • Excellent English language skills both written and verbal
  • Experience in financial services is an advantag
