REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Math, Data Analytics, or related field 2+ years of experience in a data analytics role, MS Degree and 0 years’ experience.
  • Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Experience with data analytics tools (SQL, R, Python) and data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI and AWS Quicksight.
  • Knowledge of databases; PostgreSQL, Oracle and data modeling.
  • Experience with agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum) and tools (Jira, Confluence).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment and deadline-driven environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS Degree with in data analytics, math or related field and 5+ years’ experience in a data analytics role
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Certified
  • Experience with the version control systems (GitHub)
  • Knowledge of AWS or AWS GovCloud & native AWS administrative tools and dashboards.
  • Experience in healthcare IT and understanding of regulatory requirements such as HIPAA.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of Center for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) processes and standards.
  • Experience with CMS or Federal Healthcare Programs
  • Strong Leadership and communication skills. Target Salary Range
    $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Peraton is seeking a Data Quality Analyst II to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The Data Quality Analyst will play a critical role in improving the quality and accessibility of data solutions to support the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in detecting and preventing fraud, waste, and abuse within government-sponsored health programs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional results through effective leadership and collaboration.

DAY TO DAY WORK RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze data from variety of sources, identifying and correcting errors and inconsistencies, and developing and implementing processes to improve data quality.
  • Responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of APS data.
  • Work with a range of data types, including structured and unstructured data, and will use a variety of tools and techniques to analyze and improve data quality.
  • Utilize statistical analysis, data cleansing and transformation tools, and data governance frameworks for analysis and to ensure data integrity.
  • Strong understanding of data integration principles and data governance frameworks.
  • Partner with the data engineering team and data stewards to define and implement data governance initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with data engineers / scientists and machine learning engineers, to provide support for model building.
  • Should have knowledge and experience with Java programming, Spring Boot microservices, and big data technologies in the AWS cloud.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and data preparation techniques.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to provide input on testing progress and challenges.
  • In addition to technical responsibilities, support the development and implementation of data quality policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
