We are seeking a data professional with strong technical skills (including SQL) to support the Trust’s data quality efforts - from identifying and investigating specific data quality issues to implementing ongoing monitoring across systems. This is an incredible opportunity for a detail-oriented and passionate individual wanting to progress their career in data. On a daily basis you will be helping ensure the data at the heart of the Welsh Ambulance Service decision making is accurate, available and relevant, supporting our ambition of improved patient safety and outcomes.
Ensuring that data and information used by the Trust for reporting and performance (for commissioners and Welsh Government), and for operational, clinical and strategic decision making are of good quality (i.e. accurate, valid, reliable, timely, relevant and complete).
Conduct data quality checks using technical skills and identify and investigate any data quality issues across the WAST data ecosystem and lifecycle.
Take action to correct and address any identified issues and make improvements across a variety of data sources.
Providing expert advice, guidance and training on data quality to improve and maintain data systems, stores and intelligence.
Support the development of data quality reporting, analysis, audits and assurance across the Trust.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
