Description:
The Data and Quality Team supports the Hospice to use data, computer systems, audits, and other sources of information to provide assurance and help drive improvements for all Arthur Rank Hospice Charity (ARHC) services.
Due to a retirement, we have an exciting opportunity to join this team as the Data and Quality Officer, a part time role of 30 hours per week, with the option to predominantly work from home.
This is an essential and unique role, which supports the Service Improvement, Data, and Quality Manager in meeting the Charity’s requirements relating to SystmOne activity, training, and development, the management and reporting of incidents and risks on Vantage, as well as supporting with other tasks relating to the Data and Quality team.
Main duties will include:
- Training staff on SystmOne and Vantage
- The day-to-day management of SystmOne and Vantage
- Managing NHS Smartcards and access to systems
- Supporting staff with SystmOne and Vantage queries
- Daily monitoring of new incidents
- Running reports to assist with data collation
- Monitoring the Quality inbox
- Reviewing and upkeeping training material for SystmOne and Vantage
Successful candidates should have previous experience of working in a similar administrative role, using SystmOne, teaching or training, and dealing with confidential and sensitive data. Detailed training on ARHC’s use of Vantage and SystmOne will be provided, alongside ongoing support from the Data and Quality team.

The Data and Quality team predominantly work from home, coming into the hospice once a fortnight on a Wednesday. However, successful candidates can work from the hospice more, should they wish.
