The National Service Office is the central operational engine for two evidence-based programs: Nurse-Family Partnership and Child First. In 2020, what was formerly the National Service Office solely for Nurse-Family Partnership joined forces with Child First, a merger empowering two proven models to share complementary expertise, infrastructure and integrated services. The resulting unified entity works to ensure that healthcare, early childhood development, and the mental wellness of the entire family are served in proven ways to achieve long-term positive outcomes.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Data and Reporting Specialist is responsible for the development, maintenance, and support lifecycle of key products developed for the organization’s enterprise, primarily focused on reporting with an emphasis on the underlying data model. This position will work closely with the IS Product team and other stakeholders to understand the functional & business logic of the data and reporting needs. The position is integral to providing support and assisting in creating data-driven insights for key stakeholders across the organization.
This position is remote and can be located anywhere in the United States, excluding California, Arizona, New York, Alaska, Montana, and Vermont.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 2 years’ experience creating T-SQL queries in Microsoft SSMS.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working with Agile management tools such as Azure DevOps
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working with MS Office 365
• Minimum 1 year experience working with CRMs such as Salesforce.
• Technical understanding of data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
• Experience working with Azure Data Factory preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and timelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

50% Custom Report Creation and Data Analysis: Create custom SQL queries to acquire data from primary or secondary data sources. Create and maintain reports used by cross-functional teams to support strategic and operational planning initiatives. Analyze data sets to identify key metrics, trends and outliers. Support the development team by understanding reporting requests, delivering insights and business requirements. Assist in the secure delivery of production data sets and custom reports to stakeholders inside and outside of the organization. Maintains share logs in SharePoint portal, providing access to required parties. Provide secure access to data extracts through Salesforce business process.
50% Stakeholder Support and Cross-Functional Communication: Communicate with key stakeholders to understand business needs and requests. Provide updates and instructions on the delivery, security, and availability of all custom data requests. Support internal and external stakeholders in understanding and translating data into key business metrics and insights. Troubleshoot issues and bug reports and communicate resolutions and status
updates to all invested parties. Work closely with the product team to understand changes and updates to enterprise data systems. Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position reports to the Manager, IS Products and has no direct reports.
