MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA/BS degree in data-driven field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, Health Services Research, Social Science, Econometrics, IT)
- 1+ years of experience working with and understanding relational databases, data manipulation and aggregation is required
- 1+ years SQL programming experience in an applied work setting is required
- Experience with medical claims data or electronic health records systems (e.g., EPIC) is strongly preferred
- Experience with one or more of the following software programs is preferred: SAS, STATA, R, or Python
- Experience with Excel report development is preferred
- Capacity to work effectively in a remote environment is required
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment is required
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adjust priorities appropriately in an evolving work environment with shifting time frames
- Self-starter with high degree of initiative, curiosity, urgency, and follow through is required
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time, depending on business needs

We are looking for a highly motivated, positive and innovative Data Research Analyst to help support our Outcomes Research Data Services Team. The individual will be responsible for utilizing existing SQL scripts to aggregate data for internal and external customers, modifying existing code as needed, documenting projects and procedures, performing quality control, and other tasks as directed. The Data Services Team provides data subject matter expertise, develops reports, analyses, partnerships, and analytical services to meet or exceed performance and financial goals, supporting business unit growth. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 75% - Programming/script development, data extraction, data manipulation, quality control, and documentation of analytic datasets for internal research projects and external data deliveries
- 20% - Perform feasibility analyses, report generation, and process improvement (e.g., automation) activities
- 5% - Other duties as assigned
