SymphonyAI Sensa-NetReveal is a global leader in financial crime solutions. We are looking for Data Science Consultants to join our delivery teams in APAC. As an organisation, we deploy enterprise AML software enhanced with our leading edge AI capabilities. Your role as a data science consultant will be to facilitate the delivery of our most advanced technologies to the market and advance our technology by providing feedback to our product and engineering teams from front-line R&D projects.

Key to your success will be:

  • The ability to understand business objectives and gain the trust of customer stakeholders.
  • A deep understanding of AML business operations.
  • A strong understanding of the AI deployment lifecycle.

This is a client-facing role so you will have to build strong relationships with the senior client stakeholders and subject matter experts. The role requires absolute professionalism in presenting to clients, running demonstrations and demonstrating proficiency in offering design solutions that meets the client’s specific needs. Job Description:

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the financial services industry in a client-facing role.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with NetReveal or similar compliance product including PEP/Sanctions screening, Customer Due Diligence and SWIFT payment filtering solutions.
  • Expertise in industry standard modelling tools and methods
  • Client-facing experience is essential including delivering presentations and product demonstrations, running workshops and managing client’s expectations.
  • Experience of delivering complex business or technology solutions, from gathering requirements to designing solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and able to communicate confidently and effectively at any level of the organisation.
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts and translate them into business solutions.
  • Good working knowledge of SQL and experience with Databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server and Postgres
  • Good working knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn) or similar.
  • An understanding of compliance processes and workflows within the financial services industry advantageous
  • Experience of software development lifecycle practices (preferably Agile).
  • Good knowledge of IT systems, architectures and terminology.
  • Strong interpersonal/leadership skills.
  • Knowledge and exposure with Unix (Solaris, AIX, Linux, HP UX) advantageous
  • Advantageous to have knowledge of financial regulatory topics, ideally to include AML, KYC, FATCA, CRS, and related topics.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and lead requirement gathering workshops with clients
  • Provide innovation, leadership and influence in the design of client-centric solutions that are aligned with the NetReveal product offering.
  • Manage the client review and sign-off process for the suite of functional documents and artefacts.
  • Take overall responsibility for the documentation of functional artefacts.
  • Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and internal Product Management team.
  • Keep abreast of product & regulatory changes.
  • Project-driven work requirements with overtime as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and product implementation engineers during Sensa-NetReveal deployments.
  • Collaborate with AI Researchers and Software Engineers in R&D
