  Job Overview:
  We are looking for an exceptional Data Science Lead with over 8 years of experience to lead our data science team. The ideal candidate is an expert in statistical modelling and analysis with a strong background in machine learning. They must possess excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present insights to stakeholders effectively.

EDUCATION:

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE:

• 8+ years of experience in data science, focusing on statistical modelling and analysis.
• Proven experience leading data science teams and projects.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Expertise in statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modelling.
• Proficiency in Python or R and experience with data manipulation libraries (such as Pandas, NumPy, etc.).
• Experience with SQL and database systems.
• Familiarity with AWS data services (S3, Redshift, Athena) or other modern data platforms (possible with other cloud providers like Azure or GCP).

SOFT AND LANGUAGE SKILLS:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain complex analytical concepts in simple terms.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Effective collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English is required.

NICE-TO-HAVE REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in the financial services sector.
• Experience with big data technologies (such as Hadoop, Spark).
• Knowledge of data visualisation tools (such as Tableau, Power BI).
• Familiarity with other cloud platforms and open-source data tools.
