Description:

Creditinfo is looking for a sharp-minded and positive individual to join our Data Science/Risk Analytics team in Prague.
Reporting directly to the Head of Decision Analytics, the Credit Risk Analyst develops credit risk models and strategies, while providing ad hoc support to our clients and during sales opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years in the financial industry/risk management or statistical modeling/data analysis
  • Experience with R or Python
  • Knowledge of analytical techniques (incl. ML/AI)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to gather and analyze business requirements
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Degree in finance, mathematics, economics or statistics preferred
  • Knowledge of SQL is an advantage
  • Experience in credit decision strategy design is an advantage
  • Excellent English; French, Arabic or Spanish is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE:

  • Develop and deliver credit risk models and lending strategies
  • Provide client consultations for our analytics engagements
  • Support the sales team

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and validate credit risk models (incl. ML/AI)
  • Design and implement lending strategies
  • Act as an analytical consultant for complex client deliveries
  • Lead analytical projects from solution development and data integrity evaluation to implementation
  • Support analytical and data product development
  • Interact with a global team of highly trained and skilled colleagues, including data scientists, project managers, statisticians, and analysts
  • Closely support the sales team
  • Participate in speaking engagements
