DATA SCIENTIST QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Science or Credit Risk Modelling
- An advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, or Statistics, with a postgraduate degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Python (including libraries like Scikit Learn/Pandas), SQL, and familiarity with R, Linux scripting, SAS.
- Hands-on experience developing regulatory models (PD, LGD, EAD/CCF), customer lifecycle models, including Propensity/Segmentation, Origination, Behavioural or Collection risk models, and/or Fraud models.
- Extensive knowledge of machine learning and statistical modeling techniques.
- Comfort working with diverse data sources, such as transactional and e-commerce data.
- Real-world Banking/Financial Services experience in Australia/New Zealand/North America is highly desirable.

As we venture into expanding our reach in North America, we’re on the lookout for an accomplished Data Scientist with credit risk experience or a Credit Risk Analyst/Manager with passion for learning AI, to enhance our world-class team. This is more than a job; it’s a mission to revolutionize the world of credit. This role also presents a unique chance to develop groundbreaking AI methods applicable to credit risk and lending. These include exploring transfer learning, applying neural networks for time series analysis, harnessing generative intelligence, and seamlessly blending machine learning with human intelligence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead in designing and presenting AI-driven solutions, particularly for banking and risk management executives.
- Design use cases for clients with clear objectives and success criteria, matching our AI platform capabilities and client needs.
- Develop data processing solutions and machine learned models to address the business objective of our clients using RDC platform.
- Spearhead discovery engagements, creating prototypes for deployment in SMB and Commercial lending, with a focus on the Australian, New Zealand, and North American markets.
- Collaborate with our sales, advisory, and client delivery teams to deliver outstanding business outcomes.
- Mentor and guide junior Data Science team members, sharing RDC methodologies and AI best practices.
