ABOUT THE JOB DATA SCIENTIST / DATA SPECIALIST - CONTRACT
Our client, a Federal Government Department, is looking for a Data Scientist / Data Specialist for a contract role with an initial 6-month engagement and a likely further extension of 6 months. The right candidate could be located in any of several Australian states ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC, WA, with the ability to work full-time from the client’s office in the respective state, however a hybrid working arrangement may be possible and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

We are seeking a Data Scientist / Specialist with:
Demonstrated ability to -
- leverage data and build customisable, engaging and informative data visualisations
- make data discoverable using a centralised searchable registry
- capture standard definitions and classifications
- ensure data is properly managed and securely published, and
- succinctly articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
