  • Sie verfügen über einen Bachelor- oder Master-Abschluss in Informatik, Data Science, Computational Biology, Bioinformatik oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet
  • Sie bringen nachweisliche Erfahrung mit Large Language Models, LLMOps und LLM-Frameworks (z. B. LangChain, Arize Phoenix, AWS) und OCR-Technologien (Optical Character Recognition) mit
  • Sie verfügen über gute Programmierkenntnisse in Python und sind vertraut mit Bibliotheken für Datenwissenschaft und maschinelles Lernen (z.B. TensorFlow, PyTorch, sklearn)
  • Bisherige Erfahrungen mit medizinischen/biologischen Daten sind von Vorteil
  • Sie verfügen über ausgezeichnete analytische Fähigkeiten, Problemlösungskompetenz und Kommunikationsfähigkeit
  • Sie bringen kreative Problemlösungsfähigkeiten und die Bereitschaft mit, sich komplexen Herausforderungen zu stellen und Ihre Arbeit selbstständig zu planen und durchzuführen

    Diese Position in unserer Abteilung KI, die derzeit aus 5 Kolleginnen und Kollegen besteht, ist ideal für Sie geeignet, wenn Sie gerne innovative Lösungen unter Verwendung von Large Language Models (LLMs) und Optical Character Recognition (OCR) Technologien entwickeln. Idealerweise verfügen Sie über umfassende Kenntnisse in Data-Science-Methoden, mit besonderem Schwerpunkt auf der Anwendung von LLMs, z.B. der Verwendung von LangChain zur Extraktion, Analyse und Interpretation komplexer Datensätze.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with Large Language Models, LLMOps and LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Arize Phoenix, AWS) and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technologies.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with data science and machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, sklearn).
  • Experience with or exposure to medical/biological data is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • You bring creative problem-solving skills and an eagerness to tackle complex challenges while planning and conducting your work independently.
  • Good knowledge of English is required as well as the willingness to learn German
    This position in our AI team, which currently consists of 5 colleagues, is perfect for someone who thrives on developing cutting-edge solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data science methodologies, with a special focus on applying LLMs e.g. using LangChain to extract, analyze, and interpret complex datasets. Experience in OCR technologies is essential for digitizing and processing diverse data formats. Exposure to medical or biological data, while not mandatory, is highly advantageous, as it will be pivotal in advancing our mission to transform leukemia diagnostics.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy LLM and OCR-based models and algorithms to address key business challenges.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into our routine diagnostics.
  • Analyze and interpret complex datasets, particularly from medical or biological sources, to extract actionable insights.
  • Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through clear visualizations and presentations.
  • Stay abreast of developments in the field of AI and machine learning, especially pertaining to LLMs and their applications in medical data.
