Description:

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Apollo are a team of 25 like-minded data-driven individuals, who have various engineering, analytics and advanced measurement and re-attribution background, meaning learning different techniques and approaches are regular occurrences, which only helps accelerate an individual’s consultancy experience.
They are the main point of measurement contact for our Client Planning teams, supporting clients across charity, financial services, and consumer, amongst many other rewarding clients.
The career progression is built around either two forms of direction, both consultancy experience (Client engagement, framework design and delivering high-quality, and valued insight packs) or technical advancement – adopting different techniques to achieve the best possible analytical outcomes.
We are IPA effectiveness accredited from 2021 and we have just been awarded through till 2025. Because of our effects and advancements in the measurement and analytical space. We lead the way in delivering best in class results for our client set

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

Hands-on experience with delivering media measurement and effectiveness projects using Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM)/ econometrics techniques.
Demonstrate analytical principles, problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
Solid experience in handling and analyzing data using a range of tools/approaches to provide the best response to clients’ challenges.
Conceptual knowledge of different lifecycle stages of project delivery
Significant working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and presentation skills.
Comfortable working independently on analytical tasks and as part of a team.
A passion for marketing and/or measurement and how analytics can be used to solve client challenges through insights.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

Bachelor’s degree in a numerate subject (mathematics, science, engineering, economics, business etc.)
Experience in a marketing, media or business planning environment.
Project management experience throughout delivery stages of using statistical techniques in a commercial environment.
Task-oriented, ownership of the steps required to achieve the ultimate client challenge set.
A team player, willing to contribute and integrate with the existing team and skills sets (consultants, engineers, media planners, buying teams and other vertical specialists).
Able to use a range of data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI), querying languages (SQL) and statistical packages (i.e. Python)
Interest in model automation and/or system integration experience would be beneficial.
Experience with the charity and financial sectors.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Leading & Supporting end-to-end Marketing Mix Modelling/econometrics projects, from initial data collection to model development, as well as insights generation and data storytelling.
Quality control of analytics produced within the team to ensure robustness and validity.
The Data scientist is expected to develop deep expertise in the sector and be a go-to person for clients and junior colleagues in terms of model outputs and capabilities.
Responsible for development of client presentation material alongside the senior team.
Work alongside and coach the junior members to your current high standards.
Innovate, develop and streamline the automated modelling process – working closely with the in-house engineering teams to make your plans a reality.
