Deloitte’s business area Technology & Transformation is a market leader in Sweden and works together with decision-makers in both global and local organizations. We support organizations in their challenges regarding strategy issues and in the implementation of complex transformations that often include major business-driven IT changes.
Our AI & Data team is now looking for additional data scientists (Senior Consultant to Senior Manager levels). As a data scientist on our AI & Data team, you’ll use the power of advanced analytics, machine learning and GenAI to uncover valuable insights and drive impactful, data-driven decisions for our clients. Your role will involve developing and deploying statistical and machine learning models, translating complex findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders, and leading technical implementation projects. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our solutions are aligned with business objectives and staying at the forefront of the latest advancements in data science. You can expect to be working with hands-on implementation tasks as well as being in advisory roles in relation to data science assignments. When not on projects you are expected to be available for proposal work and answering RFPs, do additional training or help with business development tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in data science, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other similar and relevant educational background.
- 3+ years of work experience in data science or other related roles.
- Proficiency in data science tools and languages such as Python and SQL.
- Experiences with Databricks, Snowflake and/or any hyperscaler (GCP, Azure or AWS) is a plus. For the right person we can also offer a role to lead one of our alliances.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- You live and work in Sweden, preferably in Stockholm.
- Fluent in Swedish and English.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and identify opportunities where data science can provide insights or automated decision making.
- Implement advanced analytics, machine learning and GenAI solutions based on our frameworks and best practices within data science.
- Advise clients in how to become insight driven organizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, cloud engineers, data analysts and business analysts, to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in data science and apply them to client engagements.
- For the senior levels there are also expectations on having a strong business acumen, actively participate in sales-related activities such as working with proposals, attend client sales meetings etc., as well as acting as a leader to more junior data scientist colleagues. For the Senior Manager role we are looking for a team leader.
