JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Security and Compliance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safeguarding the company’s data, monitoring the usage of client data, and implementing necessary security measures to protect sensitive information. Additionally, the candidate will ensure compliance with quality control standards and regulatory requirements, as well as implement copyright protections to safeguard our soft data assets.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in data security, compliance, or related field in GCC.
  • Strong understanding of data protection laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Experience implementing and managing data security technologies, such as encryption, access controls, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)) preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect the company’s data assets.
  • Monitor the usage of client data and enforce security restrictions to prevent unauthorized access or data breaches.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality control standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify potential security vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Implement copyright protections and other measures to safeguard soft data assets from unauthorized use or distribution.
  • Provide CRM system administration support, especially related to user permissions and workflows, along with data analysis to provide insights into operation and productivity.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices, emerging threats, and regulatory changes related to data security and compliance.
  • Provide training and support to employees on data security protocols and best practices.
