Our Technology team here at the Telethon Kids Institute is growing and we are now looking for a Data Services Manager to coordinate all the data management and services activities including having the additional responsibility of establishing several capabilities.
This role will manage the Data Services Team, coordinate all data management and service activities and acting as a champion for the effective use of data across the organisation. In this newly created position, you will work closely with the CTO and key stakeholders, especially within research, to ensure we have an effective data strategy closely aligned to organisational needs and lead the necessary activities and programs to put this into practice.
This position will see you leverage your strong people skills which allow you to develop and maintain meaningful relationships and rapport with team members and stakeholders.

Some of your duties in this role will include, but not be limited to;

  • Work to mature the current data governance practice.
  • Engage with stakeholders including research teams, government, management, and sponsoring organisations.
  • Lead the day-to-day activities of the data services team including data engineering, data visualisation, application development, data governance, and business-as-usual.
  • Identify, design, and implement internal services by looking for opportunities to optimise data usage/management and ensure we are maximising the value of our data.

Based at our modern office in Nedlands, this position will be offered on a full-time basis.
