We are seeking a Data Solution Architect to join our team.
REQUIREMENTS
- Mandatory prior experience of minimum 5-10 years in a related work experience
- IT architecture and solution design in a data-oriented ecosystem
- Exposure to Cloud native data platforms and modern architectures (event-driven, real-time)
- Thorough understanding of data lifecycle value chain and underlying components (ETL/ELT, DWH/Data Lake)
- Familiar with SDLC tools & framework (CI/CD, Automation, monitoring)
- Previous experience working in a scaled agile environment
- Experience with retail, marketing, supply chain and finance
- Working knowledge on data science development lifecycle
- Working knowledge on delivering projects in agile mode by using CI/CD capabilities and Azure DevOps pipelines
- Agile/SAFe certifications
- Azure Data Engineer or AWS/GCP equivalent
- Azure Solutions Architect or AWS/GCP equivalent
- Certified Data Management Professional (DAMA)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong business acumen
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex matters into simple concepts
- Teamwork and ability to operate within a large team in a matrix organization: involves others, shares knowledge and seeks opportunities for cross functional working and collaboration
- Azure data ecosystem (ingestion, storage, analytics & data visualization): Azure Ingestion framework, Data Bricks, Azure Synapse, Delta Lake, MS PowerBI
- Data modelling skills (from logical to physical model, different modelling techniques: star schema, data vault) and exposure to MPP frameworks
- Functional and Technical architecture principles
- Azure subscription administration
- Code repository management
- Azure DevOps or equivalent
- Willing to work at least 2 days a week from the Bucharest office
