JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Manager of Policy, Planning and Performance, the Analyst administers the organization’s information systems and works closely with all roles to provide the data necessary for internal planning and external accountability purposes. Using a variety of software, they configure and maintain databases, develop advanced SQL queries and reports, and ensure that data-driven insights contribute to our strategic goals and mission of improving outcomes for clients. They also support the IT Help Desk.

QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree or college diploma in computer science, IT, business, or a related field.
• 2+ years of work experience in the field of data analytics or business intelligence.
• Experience in client information systems, in particular, database design and structure.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL coding, JavaScript, Excel and Microsoft SQL Server Report Designer.
• Excellent data analysis and creative problem-solving skills.
• Able to listen to and understand user needs and communicate complex information in simple ways.
• Experience with Power BI and/or data warehousing would be an asset.
• Provide and maintain an acceptable Criminal/Vulnerable Sector Record
