THIS JOB WOULD BE IDEAL FOR SOMEONE WHO IS PASSIONATE ABOUT DATA/IT AND IS LOOKING FOR A CAREER CHANGE, GETTING RECOGNISED QUALIFICATIONS WHILST EARNING. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL NEED TO HAVE WORK HISTORY, DESIRABLY IN THE EDUCATION/CATERING SECTOR.

This is an apprentice role so 20% of your time a week a week will be allocated to learning. Once we have the successful candidate they will be enrolled to an online Data Technician Apprenticeship, fully sponsored.

DESIRED SKILLS & PERSONAL QUALITIES:

• You must be able to learn whilst working and successfully complete the apprenticeship
• Passionate & keen interest in IT & data
• Proficient in MS Office (inc. Excel & Word)
• Some experience/ knowledge of programming or querying language(s)
• Interest/experience in Web Coding or App Development
• Being able to work as part of a team and/or independently
• High level of attention to detail
• Good literacy, numeracy, communication & organisational skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

• GCSE or equivalent GCSE – essential.
• Qualifications in I.T or similar - desirable

• 1st Line support answering & resolving queries
• Daily monitoring & cleansing of data-storage
• Daily/Weekly/Monthly incremental archiving of data
• Reporting & data analysis
• Monitoring usage and reporting of system activity & load balances
• Run functionality testing with assistance of the development team
• Ensure Relish application documentation is kept up-to-date and amended to include new/updated functionality by production of both written and audio-visual user guides.
