Description:

Overview:
The Data Visualisation Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining infrastructure
utilising data warehouses and visualisation technology tools to provide state of the art visual
reporting for our clients. They must be able to work directly with stakeholders and develop
solutions that address their demands.
The Data Visualisation Engineer is responsible for assisting on the delivery of both internal
and external reporting solutions and assists in the deployment of AI strategy at Open
Partners. External support will include development of custom solutions for our clients.
The role will be focused on building and maintaining dashboards and automated reporting
that showcase our work delivered for our clients. You will be working with your wider team to
understand the range of platforms (e.g. Google, Meta etc) to be incorporated into a
dashboard and then display the data in a way that best showcases the objectives of the
campaign. The role will offer development opportunities in analytics, visualisation and A.I. to
ultimately become an expert in the Data Automation field with career progression
opportunities to become an integral part of the team and business.
Partner:

to progress and move forward. They will focus on Client Leadership, Satisfaction and Quality
Assurance. A Partner will have a strategic, commercial and/or operational focus and will
take ownership and responsibility for a Pod, Channel or Function.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop the tech stack and data architecture behind the agencies automated

reporting

  • Lead the process on troubleshooting data feeds - understand and be able to solve

the problems of the various big data platforms and technologies

  • Champion best practice, governance and security in all data led projects
  • Building ETL (extract, transform & load) pipelines and visualisation tools to create best

in class reporting suites for clients across organic & paid media

  • Develop logical data models and processes to transform, clean and normalise raw

data into high-quality data sets in line with analytical requirements

  • Work closely with the automation team to ensure that clean and structured data can

be imported from key systems and applications around the business

  • Project ownership of delivering high spec automated reports fueled by clean data and

AI tools

  • Support our wider ‘automation’ division to scope out new opportunities for utilising

Artificial Intelligence in our product development

  • Research, analyse, and help implement technical approaches for solving challenging

and complex development and integration problems, supporting the build out of a

strategy and roadmap

  • Speak directly with clients and high level stakeholder management

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering and building dashboards in a marketing

role/agency.

  • 3+ years of experience in client/account management.
  • 1+ years of experience in people management.
  • Good strategic thinkers, with the ability to undertake strategic planning.
  • Able to take the lead of a function and make it your own.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Confidence in writing and editing strong content, ability to be a storyteller.

Desirable qualifications/experience:

  • High level of Microsoft Excel / Google sheets skills (required)
  • Basic SQL & python experience (required)
  • Basic A.I./prompt engineering knowledge
  • Experience in at least one of; Paid Search, SEO, Programmatic, Paid Social, Organic
