Description:

The Data Visualization Specialist is a member of the Analytics Capabilities and Practices team that will focus in building advanced analytical capabilities including data science, predictive modelling, dashboarding, and data stewardship.
This team will be forward-looking in identifying analytics trends, emerging tools & practices to ensure we have the skills and capabilities we need, to support D&A Customer Operations now and in the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting and Business Intelligence expert experience
  • Experience in building Dashboards.
  • Familiarity with testing web applications, user interfaces, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and partners regarding testing progress and results.
  • Continuously update and improve report testing documentation and knowledge base.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for product improvement based on testing observations.
  • Data Visualization: Develop informative and actionable visualizations from large and complex data sets. Consolidate multiple data sets into one visualization that tells a compelling story.
  • Data Sourcing: Prepare and integrate various data sets from different systems into strategic storage locations for visualization purposes. Validate and ensure accuracy of data.
  • Governance: Facilitate processes and activities promoting consistent and relevant use of visualization standards that will enable better transparency and user adoption across dashboards and other visualization output. Build robust and reusable data querying, transformation, and visualization methods for efficiency.
  • Project and Stakeholder Management: Coordinate, define, and run projects as needed. Manage partner engagement in all levels to capture and understand requirements and use cases, mitigate or resolve issues, and deliver in a timely manner

Tools and Capabilities:

  • Power BI – Mandatory: Familiar with DAX functions and various types of visuals (with certification, preferred)
  • Excel - Mandatory
  • SQL or any programming background – a plus
  • Reporting capability in Jira and Salesforce – a plus
  • Jira service management – connecting the Jira dashboards using connectors.
  • Project/task management reports from Asana tool
  • Salesforce reports
  • Docusign Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM)
  • Reporting capability in Jira

Desired Skills:

  • 2 years at least of power BI visualization related experience.
  • Handled a group in building a project.
  • Strong analytical, good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently with minimal direction and perform well as part of a team. Comfortable in a team setting.
  • Experience partnering with multiple resources on projects.
  • Solid understanding on some of the tools and process like Sales, Order management, Legal strategy group
  • Keep tabs on business needs and stay ahead of with technology trends.
  • Deep or at least intermediate understanding on the data pipelining, data structures and data modelling.
