Database Admin, Principal
The Database Admin, Principal; designs, implements and supports databases based on business requirements, as well as develops and designs database strategies and system monitoring.

What you will be doing:

  • Mastery of senior-level duties and responsibilities.
  • Advises management on database concepts and functional capabilities.
  • Translates data models or user specifications into designs that comply with standards, guidelines, procedures, and processes.
  • Installs, configures, and maintains DBMS product software on database and application servers.
  • Designs, implements and maintains complex databases, access methods, access time, devise allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security.
  • Designs and delivers formal or informal training, mentorship, and support to other Database Admins.
  • Recommends and implements best practices.
  • Keeps up with external trends to incorporate into products and processes.
