JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Design, implement, and maintain databases for optimal performance and security.
• Develop and enforce database policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure data integrity, availability, and recovery.
• Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize queries.
• Implement data backup and recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with developers to design database schema and structures.
• Conduct database security audits and risk assessments.
• Develop and maintain database documentation.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging database technologies and trends.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of database administration experience.
• Certification in database management (e.g., Oracle OCP, Microsoft MCSE).
• Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
• Experience with database design, development, and optimization.
• Familiarity with data modeling, normalization, and database security.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
