THE TEAM, POSITION & MISSION:

Orange Business is seeking a skilled Database Consultant to join the Linux Team in our Database department! The Database department oversees database operations across a wide range of technologies, including MySQL, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, and more. The role we’re looking for will primarily focus on MongoDB, but also includes MySQL and MariaDB.
As a Database Consultant in the Linux Database team, you will play a key role in daily operations, providing expert database support to both internal and external customers. You will ensure that activities align with relevant service level agreements while offering consulting services as needed. Your core responsibilities will include monitoring, troubleshooting, optimization, and performance tuning of databases. You will also contribute to tasks such as installation and configuration, backup and recovery, lifecycle management, and automation. In addition to working with MongoDB, you will gain hands-on experience with MySQL and MariaDB.
Collaboration is central to our team’s success, but we are also looking for someone who can take initiative and handle tasks independently.
