Description:

The Supporter Care team sits within the Income Generation and Communications department and is responsible for managing relationships throughout our community, increasing awareness of the charity and raising vital funds to contribute to the cost of our care. Our supporters are dedicated, committed and extremely generous in the multitude of ways that they provide support.
We are looking for someone to join us as a Databasing Officer, this is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week and will be based at our Hospice site in Cambridge.
As our Databasing Officer you will be responsible for populating, processing and maintaining data within our customer relationship management system (Donorflex).

Main duties will include:

  • Ensuring donor records are updated and maintained in an accurate manner
  • Process supporter communications
  • Process supporter donations and payments
  • Maintaining effective relationships with our supporters
  • Handling supporter enquiries and send out relevant information by post or email
  • Supporting the Supporter Care Manager and finance team with reconciliation of income

To be successful in this role you will be a competent user of IT programmes, with previous experience working with Customer Relationship Management systems to input data and create reports. You will work closely with our supporters, so it’s essential to have great customer service skills and deal with enquiries in an efficient and timely manner.
