Position Summary:
The DataSphere Lab Consultant will be involved in multiple initiatives of the lab specific to the business development. This can include (not limited to):
- Understanding the needs and objectives of the DataSphere Lab and create a strategic business plan based on these insights.
- Exploring new areas, collaboration opportunities, and partnerships that align with the DataSphere Lab’s focus.
- Working on work on sales and marketing strategies to promote the lab’s services.

Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is preferred. However, students pursuing these or related fields may also be considered.
- MBA is a plus
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills, as the role will involve reaching out to potential partners and stakeholders.
- Previous experience in the retail sector and good understanding of its data & AI challenges.
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a club, student organization, or related setting is beneficial. Experience in business development, sales, marketing, or related areas would be an asset. Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level #4 on a scale of 0-4.
