Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a DBA Microsoft SQL Server Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge and experience in Microsoft SQL Server and be able to design, develop, and maintain databases for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain databases for our clients using Microsoft SQL Server
- Ensure the security, availability, and performance of the databases
- Monitor and optimize database performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues
- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies
- Collaborate with developers and other team members to design efficient database structures
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in database management
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a DBA with a focus on Microsoft SQL Server
- Strong knowledge of database design, development, and management
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization
- Familiarity with database security and backup and recovery strategies
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent in English, French and Dutch
