Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

To co-ordinate and supervise maintenance and installation activities within the North Ryde Data Centre environment at all times ensuring that all maintenance is scheduled, fully documented as per standard protocols, and approved prior to any works commencing. Monitor building services and identify any issues and escalate situation to appropriate team leaders and services providers. This role is based in North Ryde, NSW and on-site working.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

The Facilities coordinators key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Liaise with Clients and Service Partners
  • Providers as required at the Fujitsu, North Ryde DC.
  • Maintain site reliability through identification of risk and application of risk reduction strategies.
  • Subcontractor management and supervision including maintenance, repair and new installations.
  • Maintenance scope preparation.
  • Provide breakdown response and situation management as required.
  • Maintain building records including but not limited to procedures and maintenance records.
  • Ensuring all work performed on site meets the agreed scope of works and an acceptable level of quality.
  • Provide Safety management of all sub-contractors, including first aid, isolation of equipment and communication of safe working methods.
  • Prepare, develop and maintain operational documents.
  • Conduct daily building inspections & initiate repairs through service partners.
  • Conduct or supervise the operation of building equipment.
  • Conduct minor repairs or installations as required to Fujitsu buildings.
  • Participate in site auditing activities
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of data and facility is maintained at all times.
  • Ensure compliance at all times to site and customer specific security policies.
