A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN SIGNET JEWELERS LOGISTICS TEAM!
This is an exciting opportunity to become our Distribution Centre Operations Manager. This role isn’t traditional logistics, and this warehouse is no exception. You’ll have an important part to play planning, managing all aspects of our DC Functions, delivering operational excellence ensuring compliance and KPI’s are met.
The role will be ideal to someone who has experience in managing a Retail logistics operation, agile, has the drive to expand their knowledge and skills, put customers first in everything we do.
You will lead, influence, and motivate a large diverse operational team, recognising talent and inspiring people to succeed.
You’ll be driven, have a “Can Do” attitude & having the ability to think outside the box.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of DC Health and Safety, Internal working groups, processes, and training.
- Manage at Team of Shift Supervisors, understanding the challenges giving them all they need to manage their teams
- Focus on optimisation, cost saving and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for process enhancement and increase efficiency
- Plan, Manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements
- Ensure effective operational plans are in place for the key peak Christmas operating period.
- Facilitate effective communication and drive engagement
- Ensure company Policies are communicated, applied and enforced.
- Review, define and implement appropriate internal controls to drive compliance and mitigate the risk of shrinkage and inaccuracy.
