DC Supervisor
Rotating shifts 6am - 2.30pm / 2.30pm - 11pm
Salary Range: £33,000 - £37,000 per year
VF Corporation is looking for an experienced Supervisor to lead our distribution centre operation based in Bardon, Leicestershire, UK.

How You Will Make a Difference
Lead the UK Shipping operation for our Brands, across e-commerce, retail and wholesale departments.
Lead your team on safe working culture and supporting Health & Safety compliance in the DC.
Develop and Coach your Team Leaders and associates – supporting their growth.
Identifying process improvements through Continuous Improvement methods.
Define key metrics in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People, working with Shift Supervisors and Operations Management to manage and deliver against targets.
Skills for Success
You should be someone who has proven managerial experience in a fast-paced environment in a warehouse / logistics function with:
Good stakeholder management experience for both internal and external teams
A strong analytical background who can demonstrate decision led leadership.
The ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written formats across all levels of the logistics function and is able to present information and proposals in a professional, structured and persuasive way, eliminating ambiguity.
The presence to make an immediate positive impression on others and inspire and expect the highest standards of performance and behaviour from self and team.
Previous experience in a similar role, with some experience of Shipping or Outbound logistics functions.
The understanding and experience in applying Continuous Improvement tools, techniques and problem resolution skills.
