The Onboarding team within the Alter Domus London Branch supports the lending activities of multiple lines of business within the region. Financial Markets covered include syndicated bank loans, structured product, real estate, business loans, derivatives, futures, commodities and global fixed income and equities. The DCM Onboarding Senior Officer will work as part of the Debt Capital Markets Team dedicated to the review and negotiation of LMA/LSTA documentation, day to day servicing of loan facility transactions including transfers and assignments, amendment and waiver requests, covenant reporting and other supporting functions reporting to the DCM Client Onboarding Senior Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as primary owner of assigned deals; and work with the Loan Agency team to manage and communicate deal information to the borrower and lending groups.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of all relevant portfolios and deal related documentation.
  • Liaison with clients, external transaction parties and internal deal teams to ensure the smooth setup and ongoing management of the transaction.
  • Review of LMA/LSTA documentation at the deal set up stage and for transaction obligations after the closing of a transaction, establish necessary procedures for on-going management of the transaction.
  • Dealing with amendment/waiver/consent requests from the clients.
  • Ensuring that annual reviews, billing and other internal controls are conducted and observed.
  • Developing a working relationship with clients, law firms, investments banks and other industry professionals.
  • Carrying out any ad hoc requests from the Senior Management.
  • Maintaining management information systems and processes for individual transactions.
  • Collate and assist with internal KYC and on-boarding processes.
  • Maintain knowledge of regulations and developments in the loans/banking field.
