WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of working in a trading operations/risk environment. Experience of gas, power, environmental products and/or other energy commodities is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to collaborate within team and as part of the wider organisation, openly sharing views and perspectives and encouraging others to share opinions
- Good sense of urgency and ability to work with strict deadlines
- Ability to analyse commercial structures and identify potential issues and/or exposures
- Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities to meet internal and external deadlines
- Ability to identify risks and inefficiencies in existing processes, solve problems and implement improvements
- A hands-on mindset and is a self-starter with a practical problem solving approach and is able to generate innovative ideas to enable greater efficiency in systems/processes and value from collaboration.

Responsibilities:
- Liaising with external counterparties to validate current information.
- ETRM is kept accurate throughout the life of a deal.
- Validate invoicing data for settlements.
- Produce and report out meaningful KPIs and Management Information to recognise pain points and to help allocate resources.
- Manage contracts to ensure complete bookings and within limits.
- Create scalable automated processes to enable business to grow in controlled manner.
- Contribute to the development of SE-EE, through involvement in projects and new deals, ensuring that robust controls are maintained.
- Working with various business units including IT, Contracts and settlements to deliver improvements within Shell Energy
