WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience working in a similar role and team - Essential
  • Previous experience in Commercial Interiors/Contract Furniture industry - Desirable
  • Previous experience working in the electrical industry - Desirable

Responsibilities:

ROLE PURPOSE

To implement sales/business development activities within Germany and build a dealer/distribution network to grow sales from a minimal base to become a E1m+ area within 12-18 months, and further growth beyond that timeframe. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a premium, market leading, UK business in the commercial interiors industry and become the long-term representative for that business in Germany.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identifying and building a dealer/distributor network.
  • Build relationships with German Furniture OEMs.
  • Work with other key sales personnel to exploit cross geographic market sales opportunities.
  • Presentation of CPD programme within accounts.
  • Work with CMD Marketing team to create a localised marketing programme.
  • Represent CMD at German exhibitions and events.
  • Feedback local product requirements to CMD NPD team.
  • Ability to develop new relationships and a new customer base.
  • Able to add value on a project-by-project basis and work as part of a team.
  • Take direction from EMEA Sales Manager, Sales Director, and senior team members or management regarding sales activities.
  • Success in meeting and over-achieving individual and group-based sales targets.
  • Confident presenter and brand advocate.
  • Electrical and ergonomic workplace expert.
  • Build and develop a network of Architectural and Design Practices and the key personnel within them.
  • Introduce CMD to this network and enhance the CMD brand within these circles.
  • Present CMD CPDs to Architects & Designers and inform, educate, and influence specification of projects.
