Description:
Summary of Responsibilities
Act as Yamaha’s contact for dealer marketing support, including dealer co-op advertising. Prepare dealer materials promoting Yamaha’s retail programs across all product groups. Upload assets and administer the Yamaha Narrowcast Network (YNN). Provide support to the Dealer Advisory Board (DAB) and administer the marketing portions of Yamaha’s Dealer Excellence Program, including Performance 360 and Elite. Assist with Dealer Development Program initiatives as required.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Review, file and administer all dealer co-op claims and ensure they conform to corporate co-op policies. Educate and improve dealer advertising efforts by communicating Yamaha Visual Identity standards.
- Develop market outreach materials to support dealer promotion of Yamaha’s retail programs across all product groups.
- Upload content and maintain playlists for the Yamaha Narrowcast Network, ensuring timely and consistently refreshed content.
- Provide support and administrative assistance for various dealer initiatives, including the Dealer Advisory Board, the P360/Elite program and the Dealer Development Program.
- Post pertinent Yamaha information to internal communication systems for improved dealership knowledge.
- Assist and participate in special projects, conferences, shows, and events as required.
Education Requirements and/or Experience Requirements
- Degree/Diploma: Post-secondary, University preferred
- Program of Study: Marketing, communications, business or related
- Years of Experience: 1-5 years
- Type of Experience: Motorsports & Marine preferred, marketing background an asset
Skills & Abilities
- Fluency in French/English required. Spoken and written.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Outstanding communication skills and outgoing personality.
- Proficient in business and creative writing.
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative.
- Excellent in MS Office.
- Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud an asset.
Travel and Overtime Requirements
- Occasional travel in support of conferences, shows and new product launches.
- Occasional overtime required to support conferences, launches and shows.
