Description:

WARRANTY ADMINISTRATORS REQUIRED SKILLS INCLUDE:

  • Strong communication skills that include proactive listening skills
  • Thoroughness and diligence with details
  • Be analytical
  • Able to multitask
  • Being proactive and decisive is essential
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry and warranty procedures, and prior customer service is preferred but not required.
  • Some accounting is preferred but not required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Willing to be a self-starter and thrive in a team environment
  • Must be reliable, consistent and trustworthy

Responsibilities:

  • Review and process warranty claims for vehicles, ensuring they are complete and accurate within manufacturer specifications
  • Maintain, scan and submit records of processed and completed claims
  • Follow up with service advisors regarding unpaid claims
  • Post-warranty payments to appropriate accounts
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve warranty-related issues
  • Act as a liaison between customers, service personnel, and Ford Motor Company
  • Maintaining rental records that include billing for our Ford Courtesy Transport Program and Enterprise Rental Company
  • Stay current with factory recalls and bulletins
  • Attend mandatory training as needed
