Debitorenbuchhalter/Accounts Receivable Accountant (All genders welcome) (Open) (All genders welcome!)
We are looking for a Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our finance team in Munich as soon as possible.
The role will report directly to the Head of Accounting in Munich.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Processing of a wide variety of accounting transactions
  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Payment transactions, customer service, travel expenses, asset and general ledger accounting
  • Calculation, posting and maintenance of accruals
  • Timely and independent preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
  • Sales tax returns for Germany as well as returns according to §50a EStG (German Income Tax Act)
  • Processing of statistical reports for authorities
  • Reporting in accordance with international group guidelines
  • Support with monthly and quarterly reporting, forecasts
  • Preparation of the Group’s internal statutory reporting for the annual financial statements
  • Sparring partner for controlling

Essential Skills & Requirements:

  • Completed commercial training or studies or successfully completed further training as a balance sheet accountant, financial accountant
  • Strong knowledge of HGB and confidence in closing financial statements
  • Extensive knowledge of finance and accounting
  • Very good knowledge of the relevant ERP systems, ideally in dealing with Workday / Salesforce
  • Enjoys change, new tasks, tools and workflows in an international working environment
  • Hands-on mentality and high customer and service orientation
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills and affinity for numbers
  • Command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Independent, goal-oriented work and a high level of commitment and motivation
