Description:
Ensure that all items are prepared, assembled & packaged in accordance with defined specifications Ensure compliance with legislation and Trust Policies & Procedures Maintain effective communication lines between all grades of staff within the unit Knowledge of a wide range of surgical instrumentation, including specialist instruments Undertake the reprocessing of procedure packs, entailing the disassembly, washing, inspection / assembly and packaging of such equipment Operate sterilization equipment Movement of racks containing surgical instrument sets Loading & unloading of trolleys & containers containing surgical instrument set
