Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Delivery – Support the creation and project delivery to agreed time, cost and quality.
  • Project Management – Support the day to day management of projects and provide effective management controls. Assist in the design of project structures and organisation appropriate to stages. Use appropriate delivery methods. Control effective transition between project phases.
  • Budget – Support cost management and track delivery within budget.
  • Benefits Realisation – Ensure the agreed benefits and outcomes are managed.
  • Stakeholder Management – Identify and manage stakeholder relationships. Develop internal and external relationships as appropriate.
  • Risks & Issues – Identify and monitor project risks and issues. Develop mitigating actions and escalate as appropriate. Identify and work with related projects to manage interdependencies.
  • Assurance – Engage with assurance reviews and support action on recommendations. Support assurance processes such as gateway reviews, as required.
  • Change Management – Ensure effective Change Management processes are in place to agree and document changes to deliverables as agreed with stakeholders.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

Experience of a project environment including exposure to:

  • Risk & Issue management
  • Financial Management and Budgeting
  • Planning & scheduling
