DRAM Engineering Group – Media Health Group Manager

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in a technical/leadership role.
  • Experience with circuit-level simulation, debug knowledge, and Automated Test Equipment.
  • Experience with programming and/or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Linux, SQL, C#, C++)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Media Health Team to ensure DRAM products meet technology requirements.
  • Lead and manage technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across the company and Micron globally.
  • Understand product qual issues/fails, compatibility concerns between different hardware, and assist engineering teams in resolving issues.
  • Work as part of the team accountable for ensuring product yield and quality requirements.
  • Engage in strategic planning and execution to align with product objectives and roadmaps.
  • Optimize team performance through clear metrics and objectives, providing coaching and career development opportunities.
  • Improve overall testing coverage, quality on DRAM products
  • Develop creative testing algorithms to improve testing efficiency
  • Responsible for new product startup and yield improvement
  • Work with the wafer fab process/integration group to address process-related defects affecting product yield
  • Understand DRAM defect mechanisms and DRAM system error recovery features
  • Conduct electrical failure analysis of the DRAM products through different phases of the product life cycling such as qualification, high volume manufacturing and customer returns.
  • Extensive usage of data parsing and data analysis for improving yields, test times and quality of the products.
