Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW
The DEI Trainee Intern will work closely with global and regional DEI team to drive programs and initiatives that foster a more inclusive and equitable work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently in a university program related to human resources, organizational behavior, social sciences, or a relevant field
- Could work 15-16 hour per week with 6months commitment
- Strong interest and some prior exposure to diversity, equity, and inclusion practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Proficiency in utilizing power point and other communication tools to support DEI campaigns, acting in social network, etc.
- Excellent research and analysis skills
- Familiarity with the cultural nuances and business landscape
- Proficiency in English
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a passionate and driven DEI Trainee Intern to support our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives . This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting DEI programs in a multicultural business environment .
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in researching and analyzing DEI best practices and trends across the world
- Monitor and report on regulatory practices and updates related to DEI in all countries
- Support the development and promotion of DEI training programs tailored to Konecranes cultural nuances and aligned with global initiatives
- Collaborate with local HR and employee resource groups to identify and address diversity and inclusion gaps
- Help organize cultural celebration events, speaker series, and other DEI-focused activities
- Provide administrative support such as scheduling, note-taking, and presentation preparation
- Gather feedback and data to measure the impact of DEI initiatives
- Support the creation of internal communications to promote DEI initiatives
- Support diversity initiatives as needed
