    Our client sells brands in the Governance, Risk and Compliance space. They are looking for someone with experience in financial services or insurance events would be particular interesting. They are very much looking for someone who is ambitious and determined to make sales. You will be selling for 2 award shows (roughly £3.5k per deal) and 4/5 conferences (roughly £600 per deal) with an annual target of £500k.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Delegate / table sales experience within the events sector.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office as well as a Sales CRM (SalesForce, MS Dynamics or similar).
  • Ambitious, results driven and naturally motivated
  • Curious to ask questions, learn about the brand, sector and product
  • Confident and keen to be on the telephone
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

Responsibilities:

In this role you will be selling delegate passes to the two annual conferences, promoting awards programmes to potential entrants, as well as selling awards tables to shortlisted finalists. Might on occasion be asked to support on VIP campaigns for custom sponsor events.

  • Self generation of leads
  • Selling delegate passes to events withing the Governance, Risk and Compliance space.
  • Hitting daily and monthly KPI’s and targets.
  • Build your understanding of the market, product value proposition and customer profile that you will be contacting.
  • Work with the Conference Producer to refine your outreach templates and pitch.
