WHO YOU ARE:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:
- Grade 12 or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Three (3) years retail supervisory experience.
- Business related education would be an asset.
- Experience in managing business initiatives including analysis of financial results.
- Previous experience in leading a deli department is considered an asset.
Responsibilities:
As the Deli Department Manager, you will oversee all operations of the deli department, ensuring budget adherence, inventory control, and accurate merchandising.
- Responsible for the overall operations of the deli department,
- Ensure adherence to the departmental budget.
- Oversee inventory control, ordering and receiving for the department.
- Ensure the deli department is appropriately merchandised including tagging and pricing accuracy.
- Maintain excellent customer service by tracking, monitoring and following up with customer concerns.
- Participate in recruitment, training, development and performance management of all team members in the department.
- Ensure proper preparation of promotions and displays are completed.
- Provide strong leadership and support to team members within the department.
