Description:
Are you looking for a delivery role that gives you the opportunity to make your mark on one of the world’s top Universities? The University of Cambridge is looking for a Delivery Manager to support a key project changing and improving the way Cambridge makes payments to students.
Who you’ll be working with You’ll work closely with a range of senior stakeholders, technical team, change management, business analysts, service management, and subject matter experts within UIS, Education Services, and the wider University.
What you will do You’ll be responsible for coordinating delivery across UIS and the University, working with technical and non-technical teams. You’ll bring together planning and monitoring that successfully ensures a joined-up approach to introducing change to both students and the staff who support them. You will have experience managing digital products and services through the full lifecycle as a delivery manager and/or scrum master. You’ll have worked as part of a cross-functional in-house team supporting the delivery of third-party and internal products both in technical delivery, and in organisation change and adoption. You’ll have experience with a range of agile frameworks and methods in a digital setting and will be comfortable helping teams adapt to help them focus on delivery, in particular using Jira as a planning and coordination tool. You will be able to build relationships at all levels with experience of influencing and negotiating with key stakeholders to achieve goals.
What we can offer - A salary of up to £59,000 depending on experience - 41 days holiday per year including bank holidays - A generous pension - Hybrid working - you can work from home and come into the office for team events, workshops or user research on average once per month, although you’re welcome to come in more often if you want - A friendly and supportive team environment - The opportunity to shape and influence how we work
We support flexible and family-friendly working and are open to non-standard working patterns. While this is advertised as a full-time role, we would consider applications from candidates who are looking to work less than full-time hours, and are open to applicants who live outside Cambridge but are willing to travel regularly to Cambridge.
