ABOUT THE JOB

The Consulting team is seeking to add a Delivery Consultant to help scale and provide capability around our Data Governance Business Process Outsource (BPO), Managed Service, and Consultancy offerings. This role focuses on delivering expert guidance to meet the customer’s business and technical requirements for their Data Governance initiatives such as Data Discovery, Data Mapping, Sensitivity Classification, Data Lifecycle Management, Data Privacy, Data Security Posture, and Data Disposition.
As part of a dynamic and growing organization, you will work closely with clients, acting as a trusted advisor to implement, customize, integrate, and optimize software solutions within our delivery framework that drive measurable outcomes. This position reports to the Delivery Consultant Team Leader.
This role combines technical and subject matter expertise, strategic advisory, and hands-on delivery to exceed client expectations, foster strong relationships, and advocate for innovation and service excellence.

TECHNICAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

· 3+ years of experience in application consulting, analysis, or delivery roles (client-facing roles).
· An understanding of Data Governance concepts, including data discovery, classification, and retention.
· Good understanding of both structured and unstructured in an enterprise environments.
· Good understanding Linux operating systems, containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker), cloud platforms, and Rest APIs
· An understanding of common file protocols (e.g. CIFS, NFS), object storage protocols (e.g. S3), and networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP stack, DNS and VPN).
· Experience creating and maintaining technical design documentation.

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS:

· Hands-on experience with BigID / OneTrust or similar data discovery tools.
· Familiarity with scripting (e.g., Python, Regular Expressions) and tools like Postman.
· Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
· Cloud platform certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Responsibilities:

As a Delivery Consultant, you will:
· Guide clients through their Data Governance journey by aligning solutions to their goals and serving as a trusted technical advisor.
· Deliver tailored solutions, including configuration, integration, and onboarding/offboarding of data sources, while documenting progress and ensuring seamless execution.
· Drive continuous improvement by identifying challenges, measuring outcomes, and optimizing solutions to ensure long-term client success.
· Collaborate across teams, acting as a bridge between technical teams, clients, and cross-functional groups (e.g., pre-sales, engineering, product management, customer success) to ensure effective communication and alignment.
· Enhance service delivery by identifying improvement areas, sharing lessons learned, and providing training sessions to empower client teams.
· Maintain solution documentation, delivery artefacts, and capturing insights to ensure service quality for new and existing clients.
