Delivery Driver

We are seeking dedicated and reliable Part-time Drivers to join our talented and growing team!
LOCATION:855 Oxford St., Toronto, ON M8Z 1L6 (Islington & Evans)
AVAILABILITY:Open availability is preferred. Must be available to work Weekend and some week days if needed

• Operate and drive automobiles (extra large vans)
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicle
• Load up vans at the start of shift. Will be carrying and transporting fragile products
• Deliver products to our retail stores. Must ensure that products are transported and arrive at destination in good condition
• Delivery of special orders to private homes and commercial businesses
• Other pick-ups and deliveries as required by the Company
• Upon returning to Head Office/Kitchen, ensure that van and transport equipment are clean and are in good functioning order
• Report any equipment malfunctions to Operations Manager for safety concerns
• Preferred Qualifications and/or Experiences:
• Must have a valid Class G driver’s license
• Must have a clean driving record/abstract and at least 3 years of professional driving experience
• Must be able to obtain a current Drivers Abstract that shows a minimum of 3 years of driving experience
• Must be comfortable operating and driving extra large vans
• Ability to drive for long periods of time (4+ hours)
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and must be able to operate, lift, push and pull equipment
• Demonstrate organization skills to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to work well with others and be a team member
• Must be punctual and dependable
• Ability to work weekend and holidays as well as early morning starts (6 am start time)
