OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to the smooth flow of goods and materials. This position involves various tasks, including heavy lifting, driving, and effective communication with team members to maintain an organised and productive environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
• Valid driver’s licence; experience as a van driver or delivery driver is advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
• A proactive attitude towards health and safety practices within the workplace.
• Flexibility to work overtime as required by operational needs.

  Pay: £11.44-£11.76 per hour
  Expected hours: 40 per week

• Receive, unpack, and store incoming goods in designated areas within the warehouse.
• Prepare orders for dispatch by picking, packing, and labelling items accurately.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet jacks, as required.
• Drive delivery vans for local deliveries when necessary, ensuring timely transportation of goods.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse space to comply with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding stock levels and any issues that may arise.
• Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
